When The Long Trick's Over - The Stage review
“Ghent is funny and relatable in an incredibly exposing role, both emotionally as a main character on whose journey the show pivots, and physically – she is literally suspended on wires in nothing but a swimsuit. It’s to the actor’s credit that she pins the attention throughout, despite little in the way of a narrative.”
“Ghent handles Vicki Amedume’s fluid aerial movement design with aplomb."
When The Long Trick's Over - GrapevineLive review
“The cast is led by Stacey Ghent…and quite frankly she blew me away."
"Ghent made the show feel like a one-woman show. I’ll never understand the brain muscles that plays require, but the poetic flowing monologues are mightily impressive.”
When The Long Trick's Over - The Guardian review
"Stacey Ghent gives a marathon performance…Flooded with sincerity…”

BuzzFeed with McVities Commercial
Earlier in the year, Stacey filmed a commercial which was part of an online ad campaign for McVities and BuzzFeed. Today, the ad was launched.
Please enjoy :)

'Stages of a Girls' Night In...' (BuzzFeed Commercial)
Soooooo today I filmed for an online commercial for McVities and BuzzFeed, and WOW what a laugh we had!
Written by Joe Bor and directed by Richard Reid, it's a satirical look at a girls' night in, and we had SUCH a great day filming it, and a creative one too! There was a brilliant script written for the commercial, but Joe was very keen for us to have a natural input into what we were creating, so a lot of what we said came from us and our natural, imporvised responses and thoughts!
I'm SO excited to see the finished product, and it should be finished in post-production and launched sometime next month!
Eek!

Shrink: Season 1 - Update
The first season of "Shrink" is now available to watch as one full series by clicking on the following link.
Each episode is around 10-15 minutes long and Stacey appears in episodes 2, 4 and 6.
The subject of mental health is a topic that is very close to Stacey's heart, and she is thriled that Season 1 has been as popular as it has been so far, as so much work has gone into it, in front of and behind the cameras.
Hope you enjoy.
Shrink: Season 1
A message from Stacey:
"Ladies and gents, you may remember, a while ago, me telling you about a web series that I'd been a part of filming: 'SHRINK'. Well, I'm not gonna lie, I have sucked ass in terms of helping to promote it (the world of Gatsby has taken over my life!!). So please take this as my first step to plugging the ass off of it!
It is centred around a therapist and the intertwining lives of her clients, with a primary focus on the issues surrounding mental health, not just in the clients, but also in the therapist herself.
It's a topic that is very close to my heart, and I'm sure there are a few of you who have knowledge of mental health and the stigma attached to it.
I would be eternally grateful if you could go to our web series page on YouTube, give the eps a watch and subscribe to our channel (just click on the link below).
There are 6 eps in Season 1, each around 10-15 minutes long, and Season 2 is already in pre-production.
Please and thank you, from the bottom of my heart :)

Naked Noise session: Virga Skies "Give It Up"
Last month, Stacey suppported Virga Skies, aka Neil Onions and Ben Jones, in the recording of their Naked Noise session (http://nakednoise.co.uk).
"Give It Up" is taken from Virga Skies' next EP, and is now available to watch and listen to online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljAEpUF9IbY
A message from Stacey:
"Please watch, listen, enjoy and share. Neil and Ben (together they make Virga Skies) are both incredibly talented and they've been working together for a while. Their first EP, 'Analog Boy' (released in 2014 and which they co-wrote together), is gorgeous, and I can't wait to hear the next one!
This Naked Noise track, "Give It Up" is taken from their next EP (release date not yet announced). The track is utterly beautiful and I'm sure you'll agree that Neil's vocals are simply stunning. I really hope that the whole world can soon hear them...they are a hidden talent which needs to be discovered!"
